Ingredients
1 cup vermicelli noodles
1 liter milk
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup ghee
1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup dates, chopped
2-3 cardamom pods, crushed
1 tbsp rose water (optional)
Directions
- In a large pan, heat the ghee and add the vermicelli noodles. Stir until the noodles turn golden brown.
- Add the milk, condensed milk, sugar, and cardamom pods to the pan. Mix well and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the noodles are fully cooked and the milk has thickened.
- Add the chopped nuts, raisins, and dates to the pan. Mix well and cook for another 5-10 minutes.
- Remove the pan from heat and add the rose water (if using). Mix well.
- Serve the Sheer Khurma hot or chilled. Enjoy!
