Ingredients

  • 2 cups besan (gram flour)

  • 1 cup ghee

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

  • 2 tbsp chopped almonds

  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios

Directions

  • Heat a heavy-bottomed pan over medium flame.
  • Add besan and dry roast it until it turns light golden brown and releases a nutty aroma. Make sure to stir continuously to prevent burning.
  • Add ghee and mix well. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring continuously, until the mixture becomes fragrant and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder, and chopped almonds to the mixture. Mix well to combine.
  • Allow the mixture to cool until it is warm to the touch but can still be handled.
  • Take a small amount of mixture in your hand and roll it into a small ball shape. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  • Garnish each ladoo with chopped pistachios.
  • Serve and enjoy!
